Acceptance! Finally! It's a heady thing. Unfortunately, before you can go rushing off to roleplay your shiny new character, we have a few more things for you to read. Believe us when we say that these are crucial. Do not skip over these, or you will quite possibly find yourself lost and chastised in the chat.
Must-reads:
- How to Roleplay. This is more mandatory reading. We don't care if you read it now or after you've gotten your acceptance email, but you absolutely must read it before you start roleplaying. This tells you what is and isn't allowed within the chat.
- Roleplay Settings. If you haven't read it already, read it now.
- Content Guidelines. Again. If you haven't read it already, read it now. We're not joking.
- Member Rules and Rights. One more time. If you haven't read it already, read it now. Seriously.
Things that will definitely come in handy:
- How to be an Awesome Newbie. You don't have to read this, but it would be in your favor to take advantage of all these hints we're giving you.
- Fighting in the Roleplay. In the Inn of the Rogue, fights break out all the time. Seriously, all the time. It would definitely be good to know how to realistically play a fight. There's even a couple transcripts for you to read!
- The Art of Conversation. Seriously, seriously useful stuff. Not only will this drastically improve your skills as a roleplayer, but it will make other people want to roleplay with you and your character more.
- Banners and Avatars. Everything you need to know about banners for your character's profile and avatars in the chat. If you don't know what those are, then you definitely need to read this.
- Roleplaying Romance. Nobody wants to watch two characters macking on each other for three hours. This tutorial will help you be able to play romance between characters realistically. Please keep in mind that your characters as a newbie are not allowed to get into relationships for their first two months in play.
